Our Work

Projects

Every Project Here Started with a Problem that Needed Solving

Not a program to deliver. Not a box to tick. A real problem, in a real place, affecting real people.

Sometimes it was a business that couldn’t access the equipment it needed to grow. Sometimes it was a community facing its third drought in a decade with no coordinated plan. Sometimes it was an island of 4,500 people with no fibre optic connection and a tourism economy depending on reliable digital infrastructure.

Our job is to be the organisation that knows who to call, what evidence to build, and how to get the right people in the same room. The projects in this archive are the record of that work – across six councils, three sub-regions, and more than two decades of regional development.

Browse by focus area, by location, or scroll the full archive. Each project card leads with what changed, not what we did.

Sort filter

Filter 1 – Focus Area (four options, matching Board pillars):

  • Growing Regional Productivity
  • Enhancing Regional Innovation and Preparedness
  • Strengthening Our Most Competitive Industry Sectors
  • Connecting Region and Government

Filter 2 – Location (three options):

  • Adelaide Hills
  • Fleurieu Peninsula
  • Kangaroo Island

Filter behaviour: selecting one filter narrows the project card grid. Selecting one from each filter narrows further to the intersection. A “Show all” or “Clear filters” option resets the view.

Each project card should display: outcome-first headline, one-sentence description, focus area tag, location tag, status indicator (Active or Complete), and a Read more link to the full project page.

Card grid: recommend three columns on desktop, two on tablet, one on mobile.

Project cards for business grant case studies (Finch Restorations, Inavogue, D’Estrees Bakery, Section28, Chamberlain Orchards, Kauppila) already have rewritten copy at /for-business/funded-projects/ – the same cards appear here under the filter “Strengthening Our Most Competitive Industry Sectors.” No content duplication needed – same pages, multiple access paths.

Status of individual project page rewrites to be confirmed with RDA team. Priority rewrites for outcome-first headlines flagged as a later stage deliverable.
